I thought i would upload some pictures of my civic EJ9 Illusion. I will be doing a engine conversion to a b16a1 or b16a2 when i get the money together. also the decal on the windscreen was their when i bought the car so i am replacing that with spoon sports windscreen decal which is blue background to match the car. tell me what you think i should be changing on the car. am thinking of a EK9 spoiler definatly

Why does the rear sit so high?! the front usually looks as if it sits higher on oem suspension, but I've never seen the rear look higher!!! What springs/dampers/coilovers are on the car?

In my opinion, I would do the following:

Different spoiler (Spoon, EK9, Seeker, Bomex etc your choice!)
Different wheels 15s or 16s (16s for looks, 15s for performance)
Paint the grill to match the car
Paint the skirts " "
Paint the rear plate recess " "
Get a Type R or EK4 front lip
Ditch the halo headlights for oem EK4 or preferrably EK9
Remove the rear wiper blade
Get jdm sized number plates

And maybe do the rear disc conversion if you're dropping in the B16, not that it matters that much, they just look better than drums!!

And de-badge it, just leave the 'H' badges :)

Oh and sort out the suspension, looks wierd!

What exhaust is that? Looks like a triangle?.....not seen that before! :)

Its a nice car, I would change the wheels, wing mirrors and gay-ngel eyes though.

Is the back lowered? It looks crazy high compared to the front

yeah i know i realised that myseld i bought the car like this i aint done nothing too it. i want to get 15 inch alloys on it. but i have no idea what springs i got on their. anyone live near london? i need someone too have a look at it and sort it out. it just looks so off. thats most properly what is making the handling feel like SH**T

the spring set up on this car looks mine and wheels too, is that 17 inch?....but now i change my wheels to 15 and fixed the raised spring on the rear :)....i think the last owner set the springs like that bcoz he always has passenger at the back...when i installed my coilover, the mechanic ask me if i always had a passenger at the back....so they set mine higher on rear....:D

anyway i agree with Joshm88, you should do what he said..:D

i have the exact same car as this. all i have done is put 16s on mine, lowered it 45mm all around, rear tints and HID's. i like how it looks.
you should just save for an ek4 to get next year or save for a ek9 to get in 2 years

So all i need to do is take it to a garage and tell them to lower the rear springs to match with the front ones? and yeah they are 17inch

Well you'll need some lowered springs for them to change to! Eibachs FTW. :nice:

yeah i was thinking of eibach i heard they are the best for conford and quality as i don't want a hard drive that will break my back everytime i go out.

i got eibachs. there realllly good. best thing i have brought for my car

with springs you cant determine how much you lower it buy. you will need adjustable coilys for that. (i think)
with eibachs i does 40mm instantly but once they have worn in it works out just over. which was perfect for my car with 16s but you have 17s so may be a problem

i have never heard of these but personally i would get a good brand set of springs that have had good reviews.
plus those are for
Year From 1991
Year To 1995
which will not fit your car.
my opinion is get a set of eibachs :nice:

Hmmmm Jamex....I've never used them so can't really comment??? Ok for a starter kit I guess, but I'm sure there are better things you could spend your money on.

Stock EK9 suspension would be a good upgrade for you mate, or do you really want it to be adjustable?!

yeah i know its just too see if they are any good i wasnt planning on buying the exact ones. also a good set of eibach springs or coilovers

am not bothered about adjustable i just want good handling and stock ek9 suspensions sounds good. but what price are my looking at?

well if they have coilover already...you can let them adjust it... but if dosen't then you can't...
