1. Its a SRI with CAI. Best of both worlds. Also 3.5" piping provides good balance between low-mid and top end.

2. Perfect for water issues since you aim the stack upwards.

Get one if you can find it :nice:

hi mate im looking at using this setup is there anyway to make this work well on a prefacelift civic without having to cut a hole in the bumper?.cheers dan

Looking back at your pics Jugbugz, I can see how tight your icebox sits against your coolant resevoir. When I was installing mine today I was like "Damn this is a very very tight fit". I actually had to slightly bend my coolant resevior metal tab/holder slightly forward (towards the front of the car) as I didn't have as much clearance due to my larger Koyo Radiator...

Ah I'm using the SPOON radiator which is same size as OEM.

Yep no problems. You can route some piping from the front opening into that area.

any ideas what gains are to be had from this?

I wonder if it's much better than a custom B18c intake (after market filter, take all original CAI piping and resonators away and replace for 4" CAI piping, hard piping between airbox and throttlebody, velocity stack(s) ). I doubt it's worth the extra money but I have no definititive answer with proof for that.

How is it supposed to be?

The ground is hooked up under the cover via one of the 4 studs that hold the cover on. See below.
