My Cold Air Intake System #2


I've done a similar mod...

Looks good, I had a little play around with a few induction kits on my ek9 recently trying to get good air flow with a respectable vtec note. The best i came up with was a HKS Racing induction kit with a large K and N cone on the end which, just about sqeezes in. Will post a few photos of the car and that when i get my camera
 
Nice Tmus! Its a very cheap way for upgrading the intake, You REALLY don't need to spend 1k+ on a MUGEN when you can just pay $20 on a nice hose.

Bon87: thats an overkill air scoop you got there! haha
 
i need an alternative =( i have an pre-facelift
so i dont have that "fog light hole" to get the air in that form someone had an idea?

Where is it getting a supply of air from when the bumper is back on?
 
the front i guess? Look through the bumper you will see it is a big area there. air will find its way...
 
Thats really poor, thats gonna make minimal difference dude.... :(
 
Still it works fine! Ej9s don't have the hole there to take air from the bumper so this makes great difference. You can see it works if you simple blow air from the bumper. You'll see that it goes straight to the heat protected filter. I don't want to connect the tube to the filter because when it rains there is an issue.. Having a tube at this point is much better than everywhere else, because at high speeds air velocity is tremendous.
