My champ white ek9 Rx


Few minor updates, notthing special realy.

Changed my spark plug cover

like i said not massive! Its not even real carbon got it off a mates dc2 for nothing :)

picked up a set of these also as my old ones were looking tired:

i also decided to clean up under the bonnet and gave my header a bit of a tidy up with a power drill and a wire brush attachment, borrowed a steam cleaner and had a go with that and gave my rocker cover a brighten up:

really pleased how it came out, did evrything sensors, plug leads the lot no problem id recomend it.

I then fitted my OEM splitter back on, hopefullu i will get the front painted this week if GDA body shop stop taking the piss....

I think it looks miles Better than that tacky mugen one

i mounted it slightly lower than oem so see how it looks, quite happy with the look of it just a bit different:

Few minor updates on this:

After toying with the idea of a change to a jdm ep3 i realised that i still love my ek9 way too much to let it go and with the current state of the market for these cars i decided to keep hold for a while longer :D

Just a few cosmetic changes for now.

Trs tow strap mounted with a self tapping 10mil bolt (better than a cable tie haha)

Got it off vtec performance, amazing fit and quality, would recomend it.

Added a bit of a tilt after i tryed it first off. Realy pleased with the look of it tilted tbh they should make them like this to begin with.

Updates are spot on bud! Car is looking well. Where did you get your Rocker Cover sprayed it looks great.

thanks man :0 tbh all i need now is your apexi :secret: i got it done at Cumbria Powder coatings LTD. not bad for £45 tbh. if u make it up for the meet i could arrange something for you, i have a spare you could borrow :nice:

No worries, to me that is perfect! Not too much but still looks so sick. Exactly how I would want mine to look. What wheels are they btw, OEM or slips?

Thanks again mate. They are just 15" slips i have the oem wheels in black they look pretty mint aswell tbh just fancied a change
