What does the N1 sound like with the OEM EK9 b-pipe? Because I was going to get a EK9 b-pipe for my EG6 as it's bigger but never did.

thanks mate well its a fair bit quieter than the topfuel one i had on, its stil loud but its a nice deep loudness. dosnt vibrate thru the car as the revs increase. alot quieter on idle though i am very pleased with it i was thinking it was going to be defaning reading reviews on here but it isnt.

Cool cool. I was thinking of a Buddyclub Spec II but it may be too loud for everyday driving yano. I never found the N1 too loud either after hearing all about it, I had my EG stripped and it still wasnt bad. Why are you getting a Spoon b-pipe though? Thats 2.5" the same as the OEM b pipe so what's the difference? No silencers or what? I was thinking of getting a straight pipe made from the cat back to the axle back

my mate had one of them on his ek4, looked smart but FAR too loud, just sounded like a slow 4-pot with a massive exhaust. im pretty sure the OEM ek9 B pipe is 2.25" mate, the spoon is 2.5" and dosnt have the silencer where it meets the back box.

just wish the blokes down the body shop would get a move on and give my oem lip back! quite pleased with the pics though my photography skills are improving me-thinks...

Thankyou mate! im not going to get that lip painted though i marked the OEM one on a high kerb so send it off to get it painted and will be putting it back on, dont like the look of the mugen anymore

I'm nearly sure the EK9 b-pipe is 2.5" man.. Or else that's just the inlet? Yeah don't see the point of a Spec II unless your running pretty decent power! I kinda like the look of the black mugen lip, but can't beat a clean all white EK9!

You are correct dave, just done the research then. Appears that it does step down to 2.25 at places though. What motor are you running? If its ukdm it will be 2.25 so yes the ek9 b pipe would give you an advantage. I will be changing mine within a week hopefully

Not yet mate, im running a spoon ecu at the moment but im going to sell it and get a hondata or something similar when ive got some more parts together.

cool man, hondata is the bees knees, also you can wire your AEM Wideband o2 into the s300 and use it as the engines primary o2

Didnt know that, thanks for the info mate what are the s300's like to install? Im a tec myself but my knowlage on electrics isnt that brilliant.

i bought mine pre installed into a p28, total price if i can remember for a P28 ECU, S3OO and instalation came to about £400, but that was when the exchange rate was $2 to the £.

Think id problay go for a package with it pre-installed aswell. Noticed theres a bloke on here offering them for like £420. I remeber those days i was in the states myself At that time, was awsome to find the ammount of money i brought with me had doubled lol
