Okay guys picked up the car last July and it looked like this.

First thing I done was lower it abit more on the D2 Coilovers.

After that I picked up a Spoon ECU for it. It made a nice difference great low down torque and a part that all my friends were jealous of:D

Next thing to do was do was to get rid of the crappy exhaust system. It was just an unbranded back box with an OEM EK9 center section. Although it sounded good in VTEC I didn't like it an always fancied a Jap style angeled exhaust. After waiting for about 2 months I got my hands on an Apex'i N1 Cat-Back, got it at a good price and he took my OEM center section as a part exchange! Sold the back box to a friend. So everybody was happy:) Then I painted my calipers red and picked up a few bits like a Spoon Engine Torque Damper and Crystal clear side repeaters. It was coming near Christmas and I planned a B18C-R swap and after being told that the 1.6 Spoon ECU would run lean with it I sold it to absolutely sideways on here. The guy that was doing my engine swap told me he do it after the Christmas and he was goin taking my B16B as a P/X sold it saved me the hassle of trying to sell it. rang him the first week after Xmas and he had sold the B18C-R engine on me:angry: Advertised my engine a few times but to no avail. So that plan went out the window. My interest was beginning to lack in the car and as there was 2 other white ek9's around the place I nearly sold it at one stage. Then came march and with some money saved up I decided to do something I had always talked about doing with an EK Civic. I've always wanted to get one resprayed Honda Electron Blue Pearl. So ahead I went with the plan. I didn't tell barley anyone about it and after waiting 3 weeks it came back something like this:D

I was delighted with the finished result and it definitely stud out from the crowd. I bought a DC2 Air box with a Spoon Drop-In Air Filter. Put it on but really didn't notice much difference, probably because I didn't run a cold air feed to it. So I put back on my J's Racing Carbon Fibre Induction kit again. Got stopped by the local police a few days after picking it up who complained about the exhaust being loud so I had to pick up an Apex'i Active Tail Silencer (ATS). I was sort of annoyed at first but Im glad I got it now as when I driving at 100 KM/PH now there is very little noise....

I was then toying with the idea of buying an Apex'i Power Fc but with the cost of buying it, installing and getting it set up properly it would be well of €1000. So I decided against it and bought and Apex'i VAFC II Instead. Put it into the car out still haven't even got it wired in yet because I haven't had time.

My front pads had worn down and I decided the VTTR pads were was too dusty for my liking and I bought some Endless Y Sports Super Streets. There a brilliant pad and will definitely be buying them for the rear when needed.

2 weeks ago I power washed under my arch's and undersealed them, very happy wit the end result, here's a pic of the rear arch...

Bordness was soon setting in again. So I've decided to change my whole air intake system around and buy another Spoon ECU! Well thats it for now. Thanks Guys. Ill try and get it up over the next few days:D

Nice. The paint job looks top notch, hard to get a good sprayer these days

One of the best ek9s ive seen, love the colour mate.
how low does the exhaust sit?
i had a hks exhuast like that on my old vti and it touched the ground on everly little bump but my car was really low.
cheers

Thanks very much man, yep the exhaust sits very low to the ground, it comes straight back from the cat with no bends etc. And with the car been that low its a bit of a nightmare but I really like the look of it. Only yesterday I got a bracket welded to it and its up about an Inch more than it was and its not too bad now but used to be hitting the ground the whole time!

Looks deadly man... I'm thinking of using that exhuast on my car.. It came on the 9 i'm stripping... hummmm...

yip nice colour. didnt think you could paint a ek9 a different colour and get away with it but iv just ate my own words. nice car mate
