What RVM means is " is your air conditioning a honda OEM air conditioning system, or is your air conditioning a custom, not made by honda system?"

I personally havent heard of aftermarket AC's for hondas, but if it is the piping, brackets, or radiator thing could be interfering with your intake install.
Yours is probably stock AC. I have no experience with how an AC is routed, but you may have to move some tubing out of the way. For my comptech intake install, I had to unscrew the clamps on the radiator hose and move it to the side and re-tighten everything.

a lot of companies make universal AC systems, my honda came with one, it was garbage! the comressor was HUGE!!

hi all, thanks for quik responce...:nice:

my ek4 comes with AC as standard, original honda tubing. Showed my mechanic the prob i encountered with mugen intake he said to reallocate AC tubing!!!:nerv:

hopefully moving AC tubing will be enough. although air collector fittment is VERY tight!

i might remove my AC altogether as i own my ek4 over 2yrs now and never used it once! :D saving me some weight aswell..:D hve time to decide as my mechanic is fitting my intake when fitting Excedy stage2 clutch + Excedy 9.75lbs flywheel.. & couple of other things..:nice:

Nice, I hope you install this intake soon. So mugen intake for ek9 is not compatible with a ek4! :wow:

ahhh, EK9 and Ek4 J's Racing intake is different... EK9 has one hole and EK4 has 2 holes.

hmm that should just be for the iat sensor on the ek4 since the ek9 has the iat sensor on the intake manifold, aside from that the dimensions of the intake should be the same i would think.

I'm doing the same thing man, except different parts... :D I was going to order the spoon engine mounts but too late... :(

I have 1 pic of my intake.
If you still need it, I can make a installation guide with pictures since I have to put my intake back on the car after the engine swap. I remember I had to loosen my radiator stay and lifted my radiator out of the supports for easy installation.

note: I have no A/C on my ek

i seem to have great difficulty in recieving my Spoon engine & tran mounts, plus my torque damper!!! as i ordered & payed for them over 2 months now from Nengun! i decided to wait for these to arrive & fit my aftermarket parts together to save fitting costs...

if youcan post as many pics of installation i would appreciate it lots as when i opened the Mugen intakes box i was encounted with LOTS of bits & bolts

i tried to fit-it myself when it arrived over 2 months ago as i thought it would be straight forward but found it hard to make the lower air collector FIT. reackon AC & tranny support brace is obstructing it...

iam aware that this bracket (holding the transmission) is to be replaced when fitting the AEM V2 long ram; might have to do so to install my Mugen? replacing it for slimmer one?

'jugbuz' why is it too late for ur engine mounts? :D
