is the mugen header any good compared to the other avelaible headers on the market like , DC sports, megan racing ,toda, srs. is it worth keeping my mugen?

The mugen header is very good and a fair bit better than the likes of megan, dc etc!! The toda would be slightly better but for the 2bhp extra that you might gain from a toda its def not worth spending £1100:wow:

If you have clearance issues underneath with the mugen if its a 4-1 then try the new Tegiwa Toda rep manifold, looks great

Or £500 second hand.

Tegiwa one seems good deal but yet to see a tegiwa-toda comparison?

Mugen GOOD! mugen good...mugen good mugen good

yeah good at getting smashed flat because the tubes hang so low.

lol, i noticed that! all the ones you see for sale, the bottom two tubes are hanging together! :(

...errr Mugen kind-a good Mugen kind-a good Mugen kind-a good lol

I have driven loads of miles with MUGEN 4-1 and never had it ground out. You just have to remember it's on there and be cautious.
Dunx

I think people make this to be more than it actually is, I have a JDM 4-1 ITR header and it does not cause any issues with speed bumps, if you take them correctly. My lower brace hangs lower than the header anyway.

i had mugen on mine and put standard back on the only diferance was the sound imo couldnt feel any with the butt dyno lol but maybe im used to propper fast cars :p

did you remap when you changed to mugen?

Mugen 4-2-1 is what I had, they are pretty rare so i am told. But I recently sold it because I flattened the tube (car is low) I replaced it with the Tegiwa Toda Rep. Its not been 1 week and I already put a flat spot on the tubes. So Clearance wise regarding both headers are pretty similar.
I wish I kept my Mugen tbf, I thought this Tegiwa one would be better clearance. Clearly not.

I dont think the clearance issue is with the manifold. Its more with your suspenssion. Iv seen pics of the tegiwa toda rep and it sits alost level with the sump, if your bashing it that hard god help your sump.

Bon, i assumed you had Mugen 4-1, compared to that header ours has probably 1" more clearance. Compared to the Mugen gymkana 4-2-1 it will be very very similar as they both have the '2' section as the main bend

:please:

i would say the mugen mani is a mid table mani

it cannot be compared to a toda as they are best of the best

it the difference between rocking real VOLK and rocking ROTA replicas

no it was on it from japan with a twinloop and airbox, tbh i think it went better back standard, each to there own like. if i was ever to buy another manifold for any b series it would be a tegiwa one.
