mugen exhaust

does anybody know what the difference between an ek4 and ek9 full mugen exhaust would be?

It'll be shorter for a start. UKDM EK4 cat is about 5" longer.

I think they'll both be 2.38" diameter, though.

I suppose if you bought a JDM exhaust manifold and de-cat, you could fit an EK9 Mugen system to a UKDM EK4.

Its actually 2" to 3" longer, 5" is the ITR UK spec vs JDM

a local fella has it so prob wouldnt look right or woukd have to be cut?

Will this sort it though? I mean in theory it'd work, but would the b-pipe still fit on the rubbers if it's pulled 3" forwards?

If it's the one on japperformanceparts which is off a Japanese EK4 as said above, it's the same length.

Hang on, do they even make a UK spec MUGEN System?
Spoon don't so I think its unlikely that Mugen do.
If I am correct then They are all the same fitment.
But Ek9 has bigger piping I tihnk

Are you sure? I thought the pipe diameter for the Japanese EK4/EK9 system was the same?

And good call, I'm not sure they do make a UK fitment, I've certainly never come across one!

That one appears to be 2.25", which means they either do a UK system or the EK4 system is 2.25" (which would be a bit strange if it was only for Japanese EK4). But that EK4 is running an EK9 B-pipe so it's hard to tell!
