Motul or oem gear oil

So if both honda and landy have changed their formulas whats the best to use?

We use Torco MTF & RTF in all of our transmissions. You can purchase it in the UK from Nimbus Motorsports @ £7.43/liter

Don't use a weighted gear oil in your Honda transmission.

Good stuff!

Wouldn't surprise me that honda now use a thinner formula in the MTF 3

We use Amsoil MTF in my dads FD2, it's thin stuff but works VERY VERY well with the K20 box, gear changes are SO effortless

Torco MTF gets my vote, ive been using it for a few years now and its perfect for my gearbox. Always ordeer from Nimbus Motorsport and their service is top notch!

If its recommended by the gearbox experts Mfactory then its good enough for me

HONDA OEM MTF. End of you won't go wrong.

well i ended up going for the mtf3 and omg, the difference is night and day now between gear changes, before my car at times didnt like going into first gear and now it goes in every time with no problems, i honestly didnt think mtf3 could make as big of a change as it did, so mtf3 is the way :win:

Thats what I felt when I change to mtf94 reverse was always a bitch to select. Now its effort less.

so mtf is the way forward im geting a new box im going get them to throw in mtf.

Hye ,,iam new to this forum,,i have been using motul 90pa for my gearbox 4.4 final drive lsd and the shifting is way more fun now..no noisy sound and much smoother
