MIDLANDS MEET 2010 10th JAN !


I really do hope we have a good turn out... I noticed at the last meet people put names down but didn't attend.. I understand sometimes circumstances don't allow either way im looking forward to it! :D
 
...any one got an SLR they could bring along? my camera is crap :(
 
Vk9 I was wondering, it would get dark by 6pm? maybe change the time to bit earlier... also i've noticed while driving past recently that the car park were meeting at has been closed.. gates were locked.. so worse case senario come sunday 10th what if the car park is closed? we should have a back-up location and post it up... there is the big tesco across the road also sainsburys bit further down

yea thats a good idea; back up meet place should be the tesco car park.
As for Camera's i dont have an SLR but im brining mine which isnt a bad camera tbh.
 
yeah i drove past it the other day and the gate was shut , tesco car park looks like the new venue , 6 oclock will be dark but any earlier and i reckon the car park will be full as the Tesco is 24 hour... but 2-3pm looks to be ideal , we shud just take over the a section of the car park for the sunday afternoon , i will update the thread later on

so 2 or 3pm??

I think we could possibly get moved on from tesco's car park to be honest... I went up to euro car parts the other day and that industrial estate looks like a nice quite location plus its only down the road if you dont know then pm and i can give you directions so that you could edit the threads... as its sunday all the units should be closed so maybe we could land there? and i think 2pm onwards would probably be a good time... also if could update the threads on the other forums please I know the list on civiclife has reached 30+

i reckon we shud put it on hold 4 another date..most ppl wudnt come out wit all this snow n ice on roads.

Im sure another meet will be organised for Feb... we should have a monthly meet
 
So.... Should we post pone this meet for next month ???? the weather is terrible for driving and dont really fancy the motorway journey :( plus I cant even wash my car !

Finally after alot of deliberation and discussion with people who were attending the meet I have decided to cancel the meet . I feel that it is unsafe on the roads and every one wouldnt be able to enjoy them selfs due to the freezing cold.Plus no one can really clean their cars. The meet will be re- organised for next month . My apologies for the late cancelation ... im disapointed too.
 
just move the date mate, definately the right thing to do, atleast my 9 is looking clean, hasnt been off the drive since monday :(
 
next month shud be good, we need a nice day where there is no snow. or ice or chuckin down with rain
