Maximum posts per day?

Is there a capping on this? I just happen to see one name frequent in the last 3 days and hes made 100 posts with about 3 words in each - surely this is bullshit and clearly trying to pump up the posts to sell ****?

I mean 35 posts a day? thats one busy bee!!

i've seen the posts and to be fair most are more than a few words, alot less blunt than the way others have bumped up there posts.
 
Noticed this one too, thing someones going for the golden 250 ?

Or at least a cap for newcomers , this might sound harsh but the people with higher post counts aren't going to be spamming but could be arguing haha
 
There should be a cap on posting absolute dog **** with no constructive input to a thread.

I've got no beef with people posting loads but when the content is like : "k bro" , "nice wheels" "hehe i got those lights too innit lolz" it does my ******* nut.

/end of rant.
 
thats very hard to implement code wise, i think its down to us users to report such people to mods and then they get it sorted , reported it a few times.... seems to go on more at night when i work :)
 
Please name and shame we will look into it and amend if a breach of rules.
 
Well if Iv been typing bull crap posts which I haven't, might as well not post at all, Iv seen people writing posts for nothing please show where I have done that

fair play mate....bet that took some effort
i'm sure mods cant do anything about him posting opinions though.
perhaps if he makes a for sale thread straight away once he has 250 posts, then something should be done.
 
He's probably a genuine guy. But these things need pointing out as like you say, if a for sale thread turns up instantly after hitting 250 posts then it could possibly be dodgy.

Nothing against you personally Ati but these things happen on forums.

Well said, I completely agree.
More than likely genuine but a quick poster, I've been a member for 4 years now and still haven't reached 250 posts lol.:nono:
 
I thought that would be classed as spamming its just as bad as bumping Some one threads. I think he should be deleted 50 post and put on a 5 post a day bar. Don't wait for the possibility of someone getting scammed happen, act now before its to late, but I'm not a mod so I can't make that choice. I agree with what was said as in he could be a nice guy but that's a 50/50 gamble. We all had to do it this way so why can't he.
 
I have seen spamming, on here and you think im spamming, Iv seen people come on here huffing and puffing about the post count so they can sell, I have pm'd 2 mods on this forum explaining who I am and what I do, I could easily make threads in the general section stating thinking of breaking this car and so and so, but I don't as I respect the forum, I pm'd the mod as well advising I will not spam just to up my post count what for, and nor am I scammer as I hater scammers
 
I think people where accusing you of spamming not scamming. There's no harm done, just we've had an influx of people coming on here and posting like crazy to either sell their parts or car etc.

This forum seems very anti noob, anti stance and anti rat.
