making srs plug ?

absolsute no idea when it comes to electrics so looking for "how to make" srs plug for driver side so pass airbag still works just like those offered in newer mugen hub kits

I believe that all you will need is 2/3ohm resistor or 2/3A fuze between the wires that were connected to your air bag as for which ones they are ill try and find out.

Basically says insert a 2.2 ohm resistor between pins 1 and 3.

seems simple enough, cheers, cant find it stating in the thread but this allows pass airbag to still work ?

Doing the exact same thing now, have to look after herself!

So can anyone confirm if the passenger airbag will still fire? Cheers all....:nice:
 
Yup if you loop the system then there are no fault codes fired into the SRS system so the passenger airbag will still function fine :)
 
went to do this and the connector in link isnt on ek, disconnected srs real and just leaves 2 pin connector so back to drawing board

in 2 minds at the mo, may just remove entire srs system (pass airbag, control module and wiring to simply shed weight) but also worried about pass safety so may just have to find srs plug or make 1 up

Ah thats me totally stumped sorry keep us updated on the solution as I might be doing this soon.
