lowwww ek civic coilovers

X2. You could pretty much sit the front splitter on the floor if you wound them right down on 15's.

Cusco Zero 2's also go very low and you can adjust the actual shock body in the lower mount.

Exactly I had them to...

You can get away with lowering the car alot more using dual perch coilovers because you won't loose damper stroke as you lower the car.

So in a "design" point of view, once we decide what is the needed damper stroke travel, we can build the dampers to that specification knowing that ride height will not change the specification.

thanks for all your help....
think im settled on the mister rs
although firstly am going to fit the 13"s yesssss 13"s and see how low am i going to have to go for it to be scrubbin the deck...
may end up just buying the cheepo ones as 120mm may be low enough!!!

If you are going for 13"s and you want to go low, defiantly not going to happen with cheap coilovers.

Anything Single Perch (Tein Super Street, GAZ, KW, etc) pretty much will be force to run at a ride height so low that you will have next to no compression stroke travel left and just ride on your bump stop.
That is assuming that they even allow you to set the car's ride height that low.

If you want to slam it on 13", I don't even think the normal Zeta-S will do.
You are probably going to need something like the Zeta-S SuperLow just to get raid of the wheel gap and have it look right.

EDIT: RICE = anything that doesn't positively affect vehicle performance or is purchased with no other intent but to "look good" or be a "poser"
Imho you're really overdoing it there. If I would paint my calipers or rocker cover, or if I would choose other wheels that weigh the same as OEM and not less, or buy a fancy looking fuel rail that doens't add anything to a next to stock engine, would all be rice according to your definition.

Old topic but - my old civic could have touched the ground on 15's with my old D2's and still have some adjustment left!!

First time i slammed it - you couldnt fit a mobile phone under it (one thats lying flat not on its side) took it out for a spin for a laugh and my manifold hit every imperfection on the road. Took it home and sorted it the way i wanted it tho (tires just meeting the arch line with the front ever so slightly pointing down).

he never asked for performance he asked for the lowest going coilys. d2's go rite and low and still quite comfy.
