Following my inspection of your car you have failed to declare the following mods..

Alloy wheels. Tinted windows. Red recaro seats.

Erm dick head there standard parts. WTF he think it is a sh1ty 1.4 civic! GRRRR now i gota write a letter telling them its all bloody standard for a ek9..
 
Is this the insurance that said this? What did they say they were going to do...void your insurance??

had this happen to me in my ep3 he was like thats aftermarket gear knob thats aftermarket twin pipe exhaust and alloys ehhh nooo
 
aye the insurance companies are dicks they tryed to tell me my insurance was void cos i had white tail lights on my clio many moons ago

The crash wasn't your fault, was it? If the other party have admitted liability, tell your insurance company to piss off and go speak to someone like Helphire or Europa - they'll even provide you with a 'like for like' (Well, almost - you'll probably end up with a Golf GTi) courtesy car. No excess to pay this way, either.

They said they wanted my reply before they made a decision on vioding or not. Ive sent them emailing with pics and data from honda. Showing white alloy wheels, recaro seats, and rear tinted windows lol.

It's with Admiral. And yes got inspected on the Island, so p1ssed of insurance are trying to get out of this. And some women incompetence at driving could potentaily cost me alot of money.... Will take them to court if they continue to act this way.

And crash wasen't my fault. Women evan accepted liability at scene to the police etc. Ive already got a ford focus hire car been claimed from the 3rd partys insuance.

They accepted my reply on mods. They offered me 4k for the car as their 1st offer.

A worry off my mind :)
 
they are plebs at admiral...i tried to insure an ek9 and they wanted £5400 and yet i got insurance on a UK spec dc2 for under half that from them...work that one out!!!
 
not got anything good to say about them either. woman crashed into me and they said i was to blame and paid out. idiots. even when she came into the back of me when i was moving. ggrrrr
 
I thought it was Sky Insurance when I first read it! Stupid insurance companies try everything to get out of insuring or paying out.
 
Admiral paid out when I crashed my last ek9 without questioning the tints and Recaros... I took a 1.5k hit though as they didnt agree with my claimed market value despite my repeated protestations.
With regards to your situation its my understanding though that crashed cars are inspected by independent compaines and their reports passed on to the insurance people so its probably them that highlighted your "modifications".
