unreal isnt the word for it! so much work going into this its unbelievable! ill be doing something similar to your build hopefully next winter just minus the k20 just a very high spec'd B haha
 
i would give so much for a garage like this, looks epic mate, be scared to drive it, cant wait to see this finished will be one of the best !

PS whats the little tool you are useing for the inside ? like the drill brush bit ? need one and dnt know what one to get ?

Cheers lad, yea it's similar to a drill brush but it fits an angle grinder instead, they are horrible to use but get the job done,
 
Looking well.. I have started mine and if I getting half as good as yours I will be a happy man....
 
a whole lot of work gone into this fair play mate you really saved this car, was prob one of the worst when you got it,and when its finished it'll be one of the best !

And got all my brake cylinders and lines, just need to fit a fuel system now an the interior will be ready for paint,
 
few more updates of what i got upto over the christmas hols, nothing major really, i got the lend of a k20 gearbox so i could fit the donor k20 just to trial fit everything before i go painting the engine bay, also need to make sure i didnt mount the shifter in such a way that the cables would be too short,

must say it is quite rare to see the engine sitting on the wrong side of the engine bay, also got myself a 3point strut brace and frp bootlid aiming for sub 900kgs,

also made a start on the braided brake line's, painful operation peeling back the braid to fit the olive:mad:

really starting to miss the car now as it has been over a year since i have driven it, :( my other projects are takeing a back seat for now as i want to push on and try complete this in time for the summer track season, would appreciate if anyone knows of a k24 short-block for sale would contact me as i am having difficulty sourcing one out side of the usa
 
would love to be doin this k swap. going to be awesome ladx especially if its going to be a k24!! :bow:

Great build. Where did you source the frp bootlid? Any idea of the weight difference?
