Lifting the inside rear.

there are two ways it seems to start basic setup
american (heavy rear springs lighter front to create as above)
jap (heavier front and lighter rear with more focus on arb)

I don't think this is a regional thing so much as what track the car is setup to race on.

Autocross is popular in America and it has been essentially figured out what to do with a FWD honda on a tight Auto-X track- lots of rear bias. With the very tight turns and stiff springs you're going to lift a wheel, especially with the way you really throw the car into the turn.

Auto-x isn't as prevalent in Japan as regular tracks with longer, more swept turns. At these tracks the inner rear wheel has almost no grip, but won't be lifting for the majority of turns.

BTW Kozy nice article.

I have to say Gymkhana in Japan would be more popular than Auto-x in America and has been a big motorsport for at least 20yrs there.. Courses are laid out the same style, tight technical sections ..

Interesting bit on the CRX on their website aswell.

No measurable effect from fitting monkey bars all over the car, other than added weight...

Didn't have a proper read of the site first time round but have now and your right they didn't notice much change in having the braces on or off hmm but then again your not going to see much of again using bolt on, non triangulated braces.

Very good site indeed, will definitely refer back to this again.
