Hey guys! I just like the title says. I just got myself a 00 EK and I'm excited to start my project. :drive: I used to have a 97 Civic dx 2 door coupe and some one wrecked me. :angry2: A sad ending to a beautiful car. But a fresh start. I'll post pics up as soon as I can.

welcome to the forum, sounds like you actually have an EJ though, not an EK...

Thats what I thought too. But either way I'm doing a Type R conversion. Im just debating on getting the b16b since I hear its not turbo friendly...

:welcome: to the site.

I have a engine B16A I am selling cause I wanna upgrade to a B16B, and what was the story about the B16B is not turbo friendly?

How come!?

Well from what I hear and have read, the B16b is made more for N/A. I've read that they blow easily. SO if you want to go with a b16b swap and want to turbo, they recommend you get a b20 or b18c block. I was thinking of going the b16a route and no offense D0kt3r but every one around here has that. and just like D0kt3r, I would like to upgrade so I was thinking of b18c instead. Its somewhat stronger and better isn't it?

Has anyone heard of the H2B swap? I hear its a monster. But I haven't gotten much info on that. :(

Well Im not planning for a turbo. I wanna stay All Motor. So my plans are moving good. But thanks for the info, as if some day I would like to turbo it, I know from now that I will need a B18C5 block.

About H2B swap, I have not heard nothing yet. I hope someone will give a answer.
In my country I saw a civic si for sale, the owner wrote that the car has a Frankenstein engine. What is that? A biuld K20a?
