Loving it

But I wonder if I can still utilize the cargo cover? I've also read around about still being able to use to seat belts as well

I think a couple o strategically placed holes in the parcel shelf will allow you to use it no problem. If you're anything like me though, I'd have to source another before I chopped up my own!!

As for seatbelts I think it's just a case of getting your hands on some longer bolts, but I'm sure someone who knows the answer will update soon!

I have a miracle X bar on at the moment with full use of seatbelts, its just a case of using longer ones

i paid $425 flat. The place sells it for 550 i believe, and he knows me, so he gave it to me for a little cheaper

As people have said you need longer hex bolts to retain the use of the rear seatbelts i had to get longer bolts when i fitted my x brace to my ek9 i'll let you know what type/length/dia/thread pitch hex bolts you need tomorrow dude :nice:

Holy $#!+, thats cheap, i bought mine for $650.....and its the type2
Looks good, heve you noticed any diff feel in the car?

Nice bar :nice:

Honestly, for safety reason I would never let anybody
seat at the back. If you get hit from behind ---> watch your head

TDM makes a copy for cheaper... really tempted.

Love the Cross Bars man
hey just have the rear striped the passenger at the back problem solved :D
i would like to know how it handle tho any feedback ??

Thanks! Performance wise. It does feel a bit stiffer, minimizing camber wear...it's too early to tell, i got brand new tires, so there's no signs of significant wear. But I'll let you guys know.

I'm about to get c-pillar, and both sides (butterfly bars) from neXt, and a carbing rear strut :D

can you use more bracing with these?

I have one in my 9 but i also wanted to put in the bars that go from c to b pillar; you know the ones that go past the rear quarter window..... dunno what there called.

well the rest of my set up might change depending on my funds
i might go for another x bar (from pwjdm) the x will cover where the spare tire will go.

you can use more bracings with these...might need to get longer bolts like dude said a while back, but it's possible.

Hi mate the length of hex bolts you need to retain your rear seat belts with use of the x brace are 60mm in length (including hex head) 5/16th dia and UNC thread pitch :nice:

i have one of theese that my friend fabricated for me, not a miracle X but the aircraft grade aluminium version :p lol makes such a difference to handling compared to Rear Upper & C-pillar brace! As said u can cut your parcel shelf to fit nicely around it and you just need bolts approx 1.25cm longer to fit it including the rear seatbelts :)
