Can anybody tell what sizes the bore/diameter of the two induction pipes are at the end where the filter connects ? Basically I want to know if I could put the Mugen box on the end of the J's 'whale dick' to create the ultimate air intake ?
 
Dont know the exact sizes but I'd put money on the fact you wont get the mugen or in fact many other filters onto the end of the J's induction pipe. Its feckin huge in diameter!
 
if you enclose the end of the j`s racing intake and provide a cold air feed beneath like jokeshopbeards then you will have the best of both worlds
 
I'd be interested in what would be the ultimate intake, whilst we're on the subject...

I would've thought the encolsed J's would be up there near the top?
 
ITR airbox with aftermarket panel filter with a direct cold air feed/duct.

That should be very close to top imo......?
 
The ITR airbox uses a round/cone type filter for increased surface area IIRC?

Would be good if thats the case...
 
ITR airbox is very similar to a mugen especially if you remove the resonator,,
