You're in luck mate, DC5 is one of the few models they make a muffler and system option for.

Stainless steel muffler (will bolt directly onto standard b-pipe)

im interested in a stainless rs for my ek9. have you found a price for the bung? im not sure how the group buy works, do i send the money to you and then you send it to the company?
 
wow would like to see a dropy cock exhaust on a ek9 neva seen 1 i have on a ep3. ad love 1 of these, sorry to hijack thread but a will give £250 for a spoon b pipe in gud condition , more funds to put towards ya Js

Not asked about definite price for the bung, will get on it for you!

Group buy will work as follows mate -

All payments to be made directly to company (ek9.org vendor) by or on May 7th. At the same time pm the vendor your delivery address and specific order so it's easier to keep track of who ordered what. (I will pm all those 100% interested with the vendors forum name and details etc)

No payments will be made directly to myself, don't want that responsibility haha!

Once the order is placed, J's should give an estimated manufacturing completion date, giving us a more accurate delivery date :nice:

Haha, no worries mate. Post up in the WTB section, or pm a few members interested in the J's system who need to sell their Spoon N1 systems, I know at least one mentioned it.

Piping diameter is 60mm, although there is some debate on Honda-tech as to whether internal diameter is actually 60mm or 63mm....60mm makes sense to me though haha.

It's not the largest diameter exhaust, but the piping design is engineered to reduce back pressure whilst maintaining good fluid flow within the pipe. For a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder DOHC, rough guide is exhaust diameter to be around 85% of intake diameter...obviously the more mods/power/compression you are running, you may benefit from larger diameter exhausts. However, don't be fooled thinking bolting a 3" exhaust to a motor with bolt on breathing mods will benefit you, it won't, more than likely it will just loose you torque low down.

Pm sent mate. As I said I'm more than happy to divulge information via pm, just don't want to post publicly as can't risk upsetting UK J's distributors. Everyone involved will deal with the seller directly when it comes to payment anyway :nice: so any questions, give me a shout guys and gals!

In all honesty, that's a good question. I've never heard the two together to compare, but my engineering knowledge tells me that titanium and SS having different density levels means they will resonate at different frequencies, resulting in a slightly different sound. I am inclined to say the Titanium will be more of a raspy sound, rather than a drone which you can get with some SS exhausts.
