Hey there guys. Yesterday I went to a local shop which imports several parts for the ek9 and I asked the person there how much it would cost me to import a Fujitsubo rm01a for my ek9 as well as whether he had any other recommendations for another complete exhaust system. He strongly suggested that the J's racing (60rs) would be a much better choice in terms of performance and noise. I told him that from what I remembered these exhausts are very loud but he disagreed telling me that in terms of noise there would be no difference between the two. As I'm not very convinced though I just wanted to ask you if someone had an experience from both of these exhausts and can advice me on whether they have any difference in performance or loudness. Any other recommendations would be also appreciated :)

Thanks in advance :p

60rs are not too loud....but it would make better power gains than the fuji

also it would save around 20kg in weight if you buy the titanium model

So mate if I buy the titanium j's racing 60rs the sound would be similar to the fujitsubo in terms of loudness?

it would be a tad louder but its perfectly acceptable

both exhausts have holes in the tip so you can buy the bungs for them.....

imo the J's sounds best and is alot lighter in Ti and will give the best gains but the fujitsubo would last longer on a road car

Hmm I see what you are saying! Thanks mate :) And by the way yes my car is a road car, almost a daily drive :p So do the J's racing exhausts have some problems in the long term? Or it's just the fact that it's entirely made out of titanium that makes last shorter?

yea titanium doesnt like getting hit to much as its brittle and will crack....so if your cars too low and the middle box is scraping on bumps etc the fuji may be the better option...how much are you getting the J's for ? they also do a stainless steel model the same as the Ti version

Well I am still waiting for him to tell me the prices for both, as soon as I know I will let you know to tell me your thoughts on it and help me decide :)

they will be expensive....

you could get a Skunk2 megapower that will be as loud as the J's with similar gains for less than half the price of the J''s

Ive had both and can say i didn't find the rmo1a restrictive, with a decat the j's is loud and in talking just getting on track loud! I had titainum one i did love it however best all rounder is rm1oa sounds lovely not too loud specially if your on motorway etc, just watch out for mid silencer on really low cars can scrap easily

i should have a video somewhere of my Ti 60rs

ill try find it and upload it

Hmm seems interesting but i'm not sure, cause many people seem not to like slunk2 exhausts for some reason...

they dont look the best but they give great gains and they are cheap and sound good on full song :nice:

had the both, j's racing is much louder (currently still have the j's) and is sooo light!

Rm01a is nice but you can't beat j's racing.

Iv had both & ran them with tegiwa 4-2-1 manifold & decat

I found the RM01A to be pretty quiet but quite boomy when driving normal & quite loud in high revs
What i hated most was when letting off at high revs its so raspy

Fitted a j's racing titanium 60rs today & while driving to get my engine warmed up i noticed its actually quieter!
Hit vtec & omg it sounds crazy & so angry!
I let of at high revs & only has a small amount of rasp
J's wins it for me :)
