I always wanted a Civic Jordan from when I first saw one, So when this one came up on ebay just down the road form me i had to have it. I brought my Civic Jordan 091 in November 2009 from livvy, the car was not in the best of condtion when i brought her was suffering from rusty arches, and had a little knock on the back.
Picture of when I first got it home.
Anyway the car has been through a couple transfromations since ive own it.
Over the winter i collected some nice parts and planned to fit them in when the weather was better.
Parts collected where:
Gaz coilovers
Cyberspeed LCA's
16'' Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 in gloss black with yoko s.drive's (had them in the shed from the old motor)
Kics Project Heptagon Calipar 24 wheel nuts
Vison intake
Spoon socks
Funky Power short shift
Energy shifter bushes
Skunk 2 gear knob
Oem Ek9 red stitch
Hi Low 6000k bi-xeons
12x6 plates
Once that was lot was fitted this is how she stood.
Thats how it stayed for a while i was pretty happy.
Next was a trip to Livvy for a Y-56 Ek9 grill and bumper to make the front look a little smoother, loose the dirty holes left by the old number plate holder and chucked the plate tilt and replaced it with some mugen plate bolts. Also lifted the car up a bit as was sick of catching the front everytime i went out in it. Me and a mate decided it was time to get some nice shoots of the Jordan with his CRX SIR.
Always liked the OEM Speedline Jordon alloys and when dad offerd to get them refurbed for a birthday preasent, I couldnt resisted anymore. So I dropped them off at lepsons in Gillingham. Went with a anthacite colour in the end and they are perfect, have a nice deep glossy finsh to them. Also wrapped them in some Toyo t1r's.
Heres how they turned out,
Then things got a bit slow on the Jordan, lost my job at the start of May so the civic was on hold for a bit. But wasnt long till a better job turned up with better pay and also got a nice tax rebate.
Managed to pick up some NGK Hyper-r leads for a bargin price, Also a picture of the Vision intake (thanks livvy)
I much prefered the handling on the standard wheels so the Team Dynamic's were sold. I also felt that the gaz coilovers where letting the handling down, so decided it was time to change.
Was really happy with the Cyberspeed lower control arms so decided a set of Meister R Zeta-s would be perfect for what i wanted good handling but also comfort on the uk roads, and they didnt disappoint .
I still felt that the paint and bodywork was letting the side down so decied it was time for a respray. Took my time made sure it was some thing i really wanted to do. Then a local VW specialist that do bodywork was recomend to me, So went and spoke to them and got a great quote decided to go ahead with a full respray. Also while I waited I gatherd a couple of parts ready for the respray.
Figured buying a ek9 Y-56 boot would be cheaper than getting mine smoothed and tinted.
Went a payed them a little vist have way through and got a couple of pictures. Also arranged for them to MOT the car whilst it was there.
(Excuse the Iphone pictures)
After a couple of weeks got a phone call to tell me the car was ready to be picked up, But had failed ( the mot on rear pads and wipers. But they were doing them as we spoke .
Heres some pictures filling her on the way home a very happy chappy .
Was really happy with the standard of the work car looks like new. Weather was really bad for a couple of weeks after getting it back from the bodyshop that was really annoying. So did some things I had been meaning to do For a while. Fitted a Ek9 steering wheel I won from ebay, and replaced my short shift with a shorterned OEM shifter, much smoother..
But then the weather cleared up I put the front interior back in and gave it a good clean polish and wax. Then took it to get the rear quarter tinted to match the tinted glass on the back.
Too be continued....
