Nope. Oil pressure does seem like a good idea!
(This engine survived a hard day at Oulton without a hiccup however)

Definitely, I have oil pressure, temperature and water. (OEM one is miles out and by the time it does show it's way to late)

Definitely a good idea it gives you have a chance of reducing damage!

I bought an SPA gauge dual oil temp and pressure. Came with everything I needed.

Then bought a basic water one which was real simple to wire in.

VDO Vision Water Temperature Gauge Electrical - Demon Tweeks

SPA Design Volts - Water Temperature Dual Gauge - Demon Tweeks

The water sensor can be fitted into your hoses or what I did is remove the top hose and the cap/connector on the block. There is a perfect place to drill and tap and fit a sensor. Very discrete.

It's accurate to, if you drive along with heater matrix on cold mine runs around 90deg, if you put the matrix on hot it drops to around 82... Comes in handy when on hot track days or in traffic to help keep temps down.

Much obliged! If my engine doesn't blow at Silverstone on Saturday (next race) I will get one sorted.

Couldn't get the screws out...very tight pozis!

Might go and drill em'

Well I won my class at Silverstone, but my Mfactory 5th gear broke again. This is the 2nd one and only the 2nd time I used it. I was far from impressed.
I had to complete 7 laps at full chat in 4th which was very hard on the engine and the amount of metal in the oil was very worrying. - It might be stuffed but we will see.

I have a straight cut one to go in and the box is half way out. Next race is the 3rd Aug at Anglesey.

in other news I havr bought a carbon bonnet for it.

Oh the part is "rated" for 350whp...my car must be 150! The straight cut one...500whp so lets hope it can take the mindshattering torque of a near stock power b16a1!

Well Mfactory customer service was yet again excellent.

Stay clear of the 1.13 5th gear and all is rosy in the world.

Car is now running - ready for Anglesey on the 3rd August!

Good to hear good customer service as usual from Mfactory John

Is there a problem with the 1.13 5th gears? I haven't had any trouble and I'm yet to hear of any problems with gears failing apart from your experience. I'm running a 3/4/5 mfactory gearset in my latest DC2 track car
