I haven't put many pics of the car up as its pretty much standard so there's nothing much to show, and its not worthy of a project thread, but I'll give a brief history of it anyway!

I was off today so I said I'd give it a 'quick wash',4 hours later here it is!

This is my arsenal of cleaning products

Used these on the body

That bumper care stuff is great for the black rubber under the windows,on the roof, around the wipers and the spoiler, and a bit of vinyl/rubber care spray for the plastic on the front bumper

Autofresh is good stuff, when anyone gets in the say 'smells clean':D

A bit of vinyl/rubber care on the dash and trims too

I have it nearly a year now,I bought it off VTEC6000 on here, there was a few goodies on it when I bought it

>J's Racing Intake
>J's Racing Decat
>5zigen Fireball axle back
>Earthing kit

The 5zigen wasnt for me as it was very loud and I didnt like the attention of one of the loudest exhausts I'd ever heard so I got a standard system and put that on,much better:nice:

The J's bits were staying on though, here's an engine bay pic I got earlier with the 'whales dick' in there:p

Next on the list was some brake pads,so I upgraded to VTTR pads and discs for the front, will get some rear pads in the next while as there's about a quarter of the pad left so I'll lash them in

Here's the pads/discs,and someone was asking what everyone uses on their tyres, here is the Meguires Gel finish on my tyres

This is the gel,I wasnt sure what its called but this is it and the wheel cleaner I used

I replaced the standard Potenzas with Toyo T1Rs,but I'll probably go with Hancook RS2s next time and see what they are like as they're getting great reviews on here,I'm happy enough with the Toyos all the same

I havent had any hassle with the car at all,the gear box mounts were gone but I got them replaced there two weeks ago with stiffer Race Series mounts, and I replaced my slightly worn out antiroll bar links too

Next on the list is probably get the wheels refurbished or a nice set of ITR rims,no panic on it,just the paint is flaking a small bit of the rims at the moment

The other last 'mod' I did was remove the Type R decals as I powerhosed half of them off!

I'm leaving them off a while the see if I prefere them off or new ones,it seems a 50/50 split on what people think!!

I picked up a new red badge for the front off Ben(Benzai,BGM13) the other night as the pink ones were wrecking my head,I've the rear ordered so I'll pick it up tomorrow!

I used a great tutorial on here to remove it,fishing line and adhesive remover did the trick!

So thats basically it,I've a standard airbox here I'm thinking of putting in,so f I get the piping for it thats my next mod, well, reverting it back to stock!

I am an indecisive s**t,I do have it for sale and keep it every 3-4 weeks, but I think I'd be mad selling it as I'd be kicking myself for the rest of my life, its a great cheap and fun car to drive and I'd recommend one to anyone!

Thanks for looking!

Johnny

nice! the 9s got such a nicer interior than my siR, gets me jelous lol.

id say stickers on :nice:

owww very nice and clean. I do love a stock looking example. I sometimes wish i had 2, one of them modified and the other completely stock looking. Saying that i only have spoon spoiler and after market wheels but still, changes the look a fair bit.

Keep it up :nice:

Fairplay Johnny, your keeping the old 9 in great nick:nice: Defiantly one of the best cars I ever owned.

car looks great . you should put the decals on it imo . i would probably paint the front calipers like a spoon blue kinda colour to match the pads - could look nice .

Cheers for the comments guys

lovelly mate must of spent a packet on all that :D

Which the cleaning stuff??Yeah,I've been collecting a while, this thread started as a car washing on but said I'd tell a bit about the car,I'm sure most of you are thinking what the hell are all these pics of cleaning products:lol:
