Wicked! They do look bigger than ones I had...would have to look in my build to confirm this which is buried somewhere in members rides:))

They are rather large, the picture doesn't do them justice really. I'll get a side by side on the stock ones. If these go under those 15s I'll be pleasantly surprised!

So we have fitment issues. Tbf to freaky parts they had a courier sorted in like an hour so I can't complain too much just yet.
Managed to get a set of the brakes behind the new wheels. My old wheels are going to need like 15mm spacer to clear I think.

How close to the spoke are they mate? I gather they clear the barrel easy as I can see daylight lol?

And what's the fitment issue?

The fitment issue is the centre bore on the new brakes is 64mm. The hubs have a step that goes from 64 to 70mm. As far as I'm aware I have standard hubs and all brake discs I've bought before have had a 70mm hole in.
So this puts the disc 5mm further forward than it should do. Meaning the pads don't fit.
the te37 have easily enough clearance on the spokes, I can fit two fingers in width ways on the spokes, although that will go down when the bells fit properly.
The 15" 1.2s catch on the barrel (only just scrapes it) but will need like 15mm spacer to reach a small lip inside the barrell where it will then fit.
The enkies catch on the spokes and again I think it's going to need 15mm spacer

Yeah gutting tbh. Just hoping freaky can get them turned around pretty quick and I'm not left waiting too long

Ah that's a shame, always annoying when something doesn't fit and you can't do anything about it.
Good that they're sorting it quickly!

Yeah I hope they can get the bells turned around quick sharpish as I want another crack at brands and to seriously start planning a ring trip.

If the 1.2's almost clear, then some pro race 1's will do it easily if you want to stick to 15"? There was some in the classifieds no long back

They've been sold unfortunately. Checked with him last week.
I'll defo need another pair of front wheels, can't be driving the semi slicks around everywhere lol

I may be going bigger on mine, so mine could potentially be up for grabs in the near future. I'll keep you posted mate

So,
Been messing about with the tune mostly this week. Sorted some of the part throttle fueling abit more, had a quick play with closed loop but it wasn't playing ball so I've curbed that for now until I can understand it alittle better.
Had a boost issue earlier today, the car would really struggle to make boost until 5.5krpm and then it would shoot off like a rocket lol
Had a feeling the waste gate was involved so stripped it down to find this

The screw had worked loose and must have been leaking. Stripped it further just to be nosey and learn what does what inside etc and this seal (or lack of) just disintegrated into about 5 pieces.

Replaced it with a rubber oring for now until I can find the correct seal for it. Works just as it did before which is great!

Bad news on the tuning front, my tps issue has returned and got worse.
Now the TPS % will drop from 100% down to mid 70s at 7k rpm and continue to struggle until I lift. It appears to be effecting the fueling aswell which isnt great. I'm taking a stab in the dark that the TPS sensor is at fault and it's not just a symptom of something else going wrong.
Anyone with any ideas your welcome to throw them at me.

Wheels met tyres today aswell.

Looking pretty good!
News from freaky parts is that the brake bells will be delivered Tuesday, so with some luck I'll have the new brakes on Wednesday.

Also forgot to mention the Injector duty cycle is much lower now it's had a retune on the new pump wiring.
It's hard to get a clean run because of the TPS but before it would catch 97-98% at 1.1bar
Now it's down at 82% at a shade over 1bar although it did have afew hundred rpm to go. So perhaps abit more boost is on the horizon...

Good news! Annoying with the TPS, I had an issue with mine and it turned out to be one of the pins in the plug had come loose and pushed out.

I have checked it and gave it a wiggle etc.
I may give it another once over though to double check.

So brake bells turned up yesterday.

Fitted the brakes today, none of my other wheels fit so I'm forced to run the te37s everywhere until I source a set that fits.
Looking pretty sweet imo

First thing I noticed is the pedal is SHORT(due to opting for the smallest pistons size they do in this caliper), think go kart and your on the right lines of travel. For most I guess this would be a bad thing as you'd loose "feel" and to modulate becomes much more difficult but the length of the pedal really effects my confidence on the brakes so for me I'm hoping that the positive out ways the negative and I'll now be abit more brave on the brakes!
I've not done many stops yet as I only did around 3miles just to check for leaks and binding but I did need to stop fairly abruptly at a red light and it seemed to stop really hard. Obviously the test is on track but I'm liking them atm!
