Hey fellas.
Do you know how i can unlock the ECU of a JDM B18?The engine is throttled so that the top speed is only 180km/h.
Does the Spoon chips at ebay.com work and are they bad for the engine???
Do you know shops where i can buy a chip??:thanks:
Do you have some links?
The shop had to send also to germany.

hello, how much do you want to spend ?

You have 2 options, the jdm dc2 integra type r, has a obd2a ecu from 1995 - 2000. You can buy a Apexi power fc + commander from ebay, with this you will have and after market programmable ecu. You will pay like 700 $ for it + shipping.

Another option is to buy a chipped ecu with a conversion harness, i bought one from http://www.phearable.net for 300 $ , no speed limit, and the car performance was increased, i was able to shave off almost half a second in my 1/8 mile time.

or, if you really have money buy aem ems :) haha, serisously though if you dont want to spend too much the chipped ecu from phearable.net is a great choice.

Yes, you will have to pay from 255 - 300 $ depending or your needs, i paid 300$ because i wanted to exchange chips easily, he installed me some system so i can just exchange chips very very easily. I dont remember the name :(.

Don't forget to tell him your mods + motor, also mention him that your car is JDM :woot: he will find the correct base map for you :wow:
