I need a new power steering pump for my ek9 as mine is caput.
Anyway my mechanic has one and he says it's from a b series engine and I trust him fully but I still want more confirmation, and by looking at it, it's a good match.

I have a part number that was on the pump and that is p9k100554w.

Can anyone confirm if this will fit my EK9.

Yes I searched before i started this thread and I saw that.:p
But wazer is that part no. for the pump or the belt as it doesn't state it properly.
But the part number on the pump that my mechanic has is p9k100554w.

I had a look at the part no. on my pump that is on the car and that is
pct001959y. Now I know that honda power steering pumps had a few different part numbers.
So i was hoping someone could confirm if this pump would fit my ek9 as they both look indentical.

Another quick question are the pumps on b series engines such as b16a/b and b18c the same.

I would ring a Honda Dealer mate and quote the number, even if it's not the current part number, as they supersede to new numbers all the time, they'll be able to tell you if it's the part you require. I would also quote your chassis number to confirm it's a match for your vehicle.

I just got of the phone from honda and I gave them the part number for the pump that my mechanic has and nothing came up.
Then I gave them the part no. for the pump that is on my car and nothing came up.
I gave them my reg and the part for my power steering pump is 56110pct003.
Now this is really confusing.

Can anyone confrim if all b series pumps are the same.
