Stupid Question...but heard this a couple of times now! Do you have to claim your first 3 penalty points to your insurance company???

You should be telling them about all points, not just the first three. Depending on what they are for and how long you have had them they can make little to no difference I have found.

You have to declare your any points made within the last 4-5 years depending on insurance company.

Silly offences such as SP30 wont effect a great deal but after 6 points the insurance seems to go up alot from 6 to 9 points in my experience.

What ever is still legally on your driving license counter part will need declaring. Points are only valid for 3 years but stay on your license for 4. With the exception of very serious offences such as drink driving. Thats a criminal offence im sure.

Including rims such as VTI ones ?
Because there kinda standard :)

Basically anything different from standard factory options just to cover yourself.

We're fine with mods but better to be safe than sorry!

I even heard you have to also say if you have a CD Player in your car lol.
