some clean motors there from the south also to be fair, just think majority of honda owners from the north are into a "cleaner" look and dont go for as much "sun strip" styling etc as our southern friends :nice:

if your talking obout my blue ek4 thanks for the kind words :secret:

yea dont get me wrong i said some rash cars but there was a good amount of clean 1s too... the red k20 and blue b20 eg's wer wet dream material lol correct me if i got the engines wrong but u know the cars i mean lol.

HAVE to dissagree while yere cars were without doubt physically clean i saw alot of vti's and northern jordans with **** all done to them bar tacky exterior and interior mods if anything i think the northern boys are more focussed on looks and were more focussed on power imo

yes your correct southern owners do go for more power over keeping them clean etc :nice:

did you ask if any of the vti`s have engine mods?
mine sure aint stock :secret:

well some people have to use they cars every day on these shity roads:angry: down here, not yust to park it in the garage and bring it out yust for weekend(if only)or if the weather is good, which i would love as well, dont get me wrong but there were few of them

not tryin to make you mad bud but hondas are more of a southern thing like vauxhalls and **** are more northern tbh the majority of quick honda are down here the majority of irish people i know that are real car enthusiasts are more for the tuning side BTW what is the spec of your VTI?

^^^^^ know what you are trying to get at bud, i am no way a
"trailer queen" but do like the detailing side of being a honda nut along with
the tuning etc etc, like all aspects really :)

as for my engine...is not a "mad" build in any sense as i use the car often
enough and wanted driveability also :secret:

b16a2
dc2 cams
skunk2 cam gears
ek9 pistons (oversize 81.5mm)
arp head bolts
acl bearings
head skimmed to the max
all seals/gaskets replaced on engine
minor porting
blox intake mani
comptech 4-2-1 mani
mugen airbox
apexi ws2 exhaust system
ek9 flywheel/exedy clutch
hardrace engine/torque mounts
engine damper
p28 ecu mapped via crome

might have missed some info :secret:

made 185/123 on "conservative" rollers in Scotland, would have liked to have
made the last rolling road day at Westward to see how it faired against the
ek9`s.

this aint a thread to say "ours cars are better than yours",its funny that we
live on the same island but the style or whatever you wanna call it differs a
bit from north to south.
but at the end of the day we all love Honda so lets live as one and may this site grow stonger :drive:

thats a fine spec list for a vti alot of time and effort went into it as i can see have u had a run against any ek9s?? how did ya fair out??

all the cars that came from the north are daily drivers . I for one have spent a lot of money on my motor and want it to look well and go well . My car is my hobby and wash it when i can , it dont take much to keep it clean. Detailing is another side of motors i enjoy . Most of the motor were a credit to there owners one way or another .

lads put the handbag down:)) some people are into show and some people are into go some people are into a mix of both different strokes for different folks who gives a fcuk, we were all there for the same purpose to go chat and see with like minded honda enthusiasts like ourselves
