Anyone insured there CTR EK9 with Amirial or Elephant? And can you tell me what you have insured it under???

thanks, Dan

if you have to wonder what you are insuring under mate i would seriously consider calling a specialist to make sure they have the car listed as the right model and spec etc

i ended up avoiding all the regular high street ones and going through Aplan and ended up with ensign

same here A Plan is quite good, not bad for me at all. give them a call.

I did think about going through elephant and stuff, but they just don't know anything.

Do it properly mate

alright mate it is not a VTI-R import or a VTEC-R Improt

it is an ek9 and nothing else not worth the risk,

i phone everywhere

call the insurance factory they are top notch i cant find the number but giver them a call

thanks guys all replys very helpfull i have found elephant and admiral to be very vauge on what they know about imports....

....defo not worth the risk

Thanks guys

just to add to this.. i tried sky to be quoted over £1000 to insure which i thought was alot. and his comment to the reason why it was alot was that i had not had experience on such a high powered car! joke.. and yet i've owned a jap import celica GT4 ST205 with 300bhp. this only cost me £550 for the year and this was when i was 24!

can anyone else let me know what your actually paying?? and who with?? as well as your age and location??

Im 26 male, 8years ncb, sp30 (speeding offence with 3points given and £60fine) living in LE19 Leicester

discounts would be nice, as it would be nice to see what the £1050 comes down too with discount!
do we know yet how much the discount will be?? 5%, 10% 15% etc or will it depend on each car??
