Well, i sold my 92 Accord dohc F22 wagon 5sp a couple days ago, and picked up a EK as a new project today. I am no stranger to Honda's, i've have 25 of them now if i remember correctly. I still have an RSX and a CRX showcar which are my other pride and joys
Anyhow on to the new (used) car, ha ha I got a smoking deal on it. I picked it up from a girl who didn't want it anymore car it wouldn't start one morning. After a few days she had it towed to a shop only to have them tell her te fuel pump wasn't working, so it sat a couple more weeks till today where she decided to give it to me for only $1500 canadian. I gladly excepted, and bought the car. Not sure, but pretty sure one i get it home, all i'll need to do it drop in a new main relay and call it a day. Here's a couple pics...
Now, i have has the original engine checked out only to find it had no compression. For the time being, i will be swapping in a 2000 model CRV B20Z this weekend. Sometime over this summer i will finish off an extra Type R engine i have sitting in the garage complet with a stroker kit bringing displacement to 2.0L. I figure why not go crazy and enjoy what the chassis really has to offer.
If anyone has any other suggestions, reply away, i always enjoy feedback
Oh yeah, btw its a 1996 CX with about 120K on it. The chassis is straight, the paint is good (just a little dirty in the pics), and these pics are what it looked like as i came to pick it up
Thanks, Deetz
