how to determine Spoon SW388's from Regamaster EVO's...

i'm after some help please! i bought some wheels that were advertised as the Spoon SW388's but was wondering how you determined the Spoon SW388 wheels from the Regamaster Evo's as they sound like they're identical!

this has been mentioned a few times but there doesn't appear to be a clear answer from what i can see!

i wondered if there was an easy way to identify them as they both appear to be made by Desmond in Russia, both are stamped, both weigh the same and they obviously look the same! very confusing!! haha!

Well yours are spoons as Spoon finished theirs in a black anodised finish..The wheels are the exact same. Just the finish that is different mate

Well because it has the "JAWA" Stamp/Sticker I'm going to assume the wheels a Spoon cause it wouldn't need that straight from Russia cause there not Japanese and there Wheel standards are diff. I'll say it's Authentic...

Regamasters have that same sticker.. The alloys are the same in every way except the finish as far as I know
 
Hmm, interesting. So the Rega's pass through Japan/Get the inspection and stamp/decal...
 
I didnt know the spoon/regas are made in russia. Might get in touch with a few contacts and see if I can source a set for cheap :blinx:
 
sw388's come in anodised black and regamasters dont come in anodised black :)
