How much is a b16b engine worth ??

as in title

its my engine

mileage approx 95km to date ,
no smoke, no oil leaks , maintained to high standard (work for honda so says it all aha )

just an enquirie on how much worth with and without gearbox ???


i look on ebay and engine loom and ecu no gearbox is 1600???

thats crazy prices, engine about £600-£800, gear box about £300-£400 if all are working 100%, so for the 2 together in or around £1000 id say
 
I paid £850 for one with a rebuilt head and supertech valvetrain. When the bottom end let go on that one I got another out of a preface for £550. ECU only cost £80, so those prices on eBay are an absolute joke.
 
I have a question about ek9 cams, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this, I think it fits here. So how much do they worth?(and also itr fl/nonfl ones)
 
I paid 650 for my old ek9 engine with no inlet or gearbox
 
@ Luter: I sold two sets for around £120-150, people buy them for their B16a engines.
 
Yep, with good ecu tune, ek9/itr cams and some exhaust and intake mods you can easily reach 190+ hp. But the guy who asked for the price has b18c4 (1.8 vti). Don't know his plans yet. :)
 
I remember a day when I sold mine for €2000 and i was told i sold it cheaply. haha
