i just need help in reducing the weight of my ek4 without removing the back seats lol. so far i have a carbon bonnet so thats a start.

id like to make it as light as an ek9 at the moment its very heavy compare to my eg6 sir which still not come back from the body shop. any advice is :welcome:

Thanks

carbon bootlid, remove a/c, remove sound deadening, depending on how daily drivable u want it...

remove spare wheel and jack. Just think of whats on/in the car that you don't need. :)

Race battery (in the boot)

Eat less pies.

Drill holes in your windscreen.

(Sorry I'm bored...)

How long is a piece of string?

one suggestion: Only fill the petrol tank quater full!!!! dont think that was mentioned already! O and Fill your tyres with helium its lighter than air!

Carbon fenders, carbon doors, carbon bootlid should take away a lot of the weight, after market s/s header!

remove a/c,p/s sound deadening, window motors, rear wiper motor, recaros if you hav them,cd changers, new alloys, carbon stuff as metioned, new battery,,,lightweight exhaust will make a big difference.spoilers and foglights if you realy want a race machine..and never judge you power when on a full tank of petrol because that is like 40kgs more than haveing it on teh red light.:secret:
