:nice: It was tire spin, because I powershift 1-2 and quick shifted all the rest.

I use 22x8x15 MT slicks. I removed the 4.785 because if I use it while drag racing I will have to shift 5th just before the 1/4 mile. To shift 5th gear in a drag race is not necessary nor is it benificial. I cross the 1/4 mile in 4th at 9500 rpms:nice:
 
Ace - do that trye size fit on standard 15s ok m8 ???? I am going to be drag racing mine aswell bud.. What would you recomend more - the 4.928 final drive or custom 3/4/5 ???
 
I recommend the custom 3/4/5 gearset with your standard final drive for drag racing. I use thos slicks on my stock Type R rims.
 
Nice m8.. So has fitting the close gears lowered your quater mile time ?? What speed roughly are you crossing the line at ??
 
I have not done a time yet. Before I bought this kit I went on Grand Tourismo 4 and both a CTR, inputed all the gear rations in customization, and put it to the test. The quarter mile results on there are not to be taken seriously, but everything else is uncannyly similar. After I adjusted the ratios in GT4, I did a pass and crossed the finish line in 4th @9400rpms. In reality it is the exact same. So get the ratios fromtheir website and play around with GT4 and see if you like the results.
 
here is another one of me vs a Toyota Runx. That car is 1.8lt VVT-i with cams and a 55 shot of nitro. I beat it 3-0, but this race my plugs went bad and the car began to sputter from 5500-6500 rpms. I won that race by about half a car but the other two were won by about 11/2 lenghts.

I don't know. Where I am from we don't have long straight higways, nore twists and bends. In traffic I run up on cars to fast to know where my limits are :)
 
It feels more stronger because the car is accelerating much faster. I hope that helps.
 
Have a play around with our calculator. It will show you the max speeds possible in each gear with the different ratios :)
 
Its a playstation2 vidoe game that has hundreds of cars that are built, handle, sound, and drive like the real thing.
