HOT Snetterton 07/03/09…

well my rims are in the garage waiting!!! New Brakes inc Pads are ordered! im just trying to decide should i take a complete set of spare rims and jack with some tools??

I feel like i've got quite a bit to do before going... may even do an oil and filter change before hand!

do we have use of the pits or somewhere where we can leave stuff like tryes once we get there?? does anyone know?

Always take everything! Sods law you leave an insignificant item at home then you need it! As for rims I normally have at least 2 sets, maybe 3 this time for weather conditions. As for leaving stuff I think it is like Coombe - a parking area, Im sure Mark can clarify :secret:

Im a useless mechanic but if you have everything, tools/spares, you may find someone to help for beer tokens eh :)

I only have one set of wheel's so the R888's will have to do wet or dry! :angry2:
I have load's to do to mine befor we go!
I got the inlet mini off last nite for welding as i had a hair line crack in it so was leeking a little coolent! that should be sorted by tonight!
Then i off work for the rest of the week aft today to sort everything else! :D

Tyres
Discs & pads (all round)
Braided line's
Vacuum bleed brakes
Bonnet pins
Then a genral check over eveything to make sure im good to go!:nice:

Jim - sounds liek you need the week off to get everything done! im starting to think i should have done the same! would be intersting to know what improvements braided hoses give on an EK! been quoted £55 for a set!

Still waiting for my itg maxogen, they said it not coming till next week :nono: Got a letter thismorning said they got one coming on wednesday:D

^^^^^^^^^^^^

There are garages @ Snetterton,,, between us we will grab a few for us Honda folk to work on our cars and store large items :)… I was speaking to Tom from TGM yesterday,,, they are there with their DC5 and are taking their Motor home (so I’m sure Tom would store any valuables in the Motor home for us)…

At this rate i feel like i should be coming with the car on a trailer and bringing all my tools! but im only going round for some fun!

So i doubt i well need them, but i understand the just incase senario! but i guess thats the difference with motor sport and a fun track day!

I so wish i was able to go, i had an invite from my mate BIGSKANK as well. My Mrs is due to have our third baby in a week or two and it is a bit too far if i get THE call.
All the best guys, and make sure you take it easy in the morning to just get used to the track and car before really pushing it.
Dunx :-(
