HOT Abbeville Sunday 1st August 2010...


Venue: Abbeville.
Date: 1st August 2010 (Sunday).
Noise limit: 105db (static).
Format: Open Pit Lane.
Price: £89 (includes hot and cold drinks all day plus baguette lunch for driver & 1 passenger).

Extras:

Passengers: FREE (but must be 16 or over).
Instruction: £20.
Helmet Hire: £20 on the day.


Our first exclusive day abroad and to a very exclusive circuit not available to UK organisers, with the exception to Lotus on Track.

Abbeville is situated in Northern France under 1 hour from Calais and 40 minutes from Boulogne sur Mer. It's a very safe circuit with good run off and excellent facilities including excellent viewing of the whole circuit.

The day will be run in open pit lane format and limited to just 30 cars.

The day is ideal for beginners or experienced drivers alike.

If you live in the South East, Abbeville can be done as a day trip using Eurotunnel, but we expect most people to head out Saturday morning and maybe visit the fantastic seaside town of Le Touquet which is on the way from Calais to Abbeville. Then stay either on the coast or at Abbeville on the Saturday night.

I wish i could mate, but i have croft on the 23rd.

Plus its quite a way for me to travel so it will work out alot more expensive for me!:mad:
 
Haitch, how are you planning on getting there - EuroTunnel?

I'm soo tempted as I'm on stand down then! Just need to try find someone to travel with.
 
Not sure on the route yet, tunnel looks good, welcome to travel with us :nice:

Im busy for croft aswell! :mad:. The ferry is £30, and eurotunnel being £44 (Or there abouce). I'm not bothered!

Well, I'd happily travel with you. I'm gonna see if anyone I know would like to come with me as additional drivers are free (Yup free ride for them)! Could use the company and im sure we'd have a good time lol!

The road trip will be good Im sure, walkie talkies all round! Its a good price and a different circuit, hopefully we will get a few from here to sign up :drive:
 
Think I prefer the ferry, but we will decide nearer the time, will pm some contact details at some point.

This event may be cancelled if we cant get some numbers down this week, it would be a real shame, looks a cracking track with plenty of run off for novices or regular track folk.

Only five out of a possible thirty have booked, any more people fancy it? :)

C'mon people, It'll be a great laugh! A few days break from the Uk won't hurt :D
