Honda Coolant Question

I just bought some coolant from Honda Dealer as my coolant level was below minimum just realised this last night when cleaning my bay, Im not sure what coolant was used previously but i am just wondering if i can just poor in the new coolant in with the remaining previous coolant?

All feedback appreciated thanks :D
 
It will be fine to mix but its no harm to flush the system and fill with new coolant if it hasn't been changed in some time

Thanks, i was going to do that but i have to travel down the country in the next 20 minutes just needed the coolant before i head off and i only bought 1litre and i think if i was doing that i would need at least 2l?

More like 4ltrs if premixed. Honda sell 5ltr bottles of it.
 
It's normal to loose some coolant over a long period of time.

good reason to always keep an eye on all fluid levels...to know if it took a long period of time to drop...just say'n.
 
I check coolant levels each gas up along with the oil.
...but for some reason the gas seems to always be low. ;)
