Hi all!

New Ek9 owner here too!

Just curious and envious at the same time how you guys in the US can import EK9s seemingly so easily.

What are the conditions to meet? ie. Age of car? Taxes?

Over here in Singapore, you can't import a vehicle that is more than 3yrs old and the taxes are crazy. And you can only drive a car for 10years before you HAVE TO scrap it or pay another big sum of money to put it back on the road for another 10years.

hello and welcome. and it is not easy to import a 9 in usa, actually very difficult and expensive...

welcome mate. as blinx9900 said, its very difficult to import to USA, I think in Canada is easier!

i think u hve been mislead by the many '9's sold recently in UK not US...

btw: looking forward to the 1st ever Singapore Formula 1 street circuit

any :pics: of ur ctr?

Hi all again,

So what is roughly the cost to put a 9 on the road in the US?

Car is 95% stock, which i like very much! The previous owner has been taking good care of it for the past 8yrs!

Hope to get some pics up after a good detailing session this Sunday.

Getting this car 1week before uni exams is highly NOT RECOMMENDED. lol..

ph45e >> you from SG too? Maximus Racing eh?

Maybe like 4000 $ or more! I hope dut reads this thread so he can give you exact numbers :)

The FD2R is sweet. Day to day driving, perhaps the only issue is the suspension might be too hard for some people.

The EG is slightly faster, 4.7 final drive and a B18 FTW!

Wow, imagine tweaking the K20A on the FD2R... drooooolllzzzz.... Thats the other car that I would like to add

I'll love a fd2 for a daily drive :( but too much $$$$
