What is this i hear about cars around the 10year and older mark will be going up to a massive 400pound road tax hike????? :nono::nono::nono::angry2:

Any one heard this????


This means that if i sell my new car to get an EK9 98plate im going to be severly punnished an i not?!?!?!?!
 
Wouldn't surprise me, f*ckin government loves to pick on the motorist for money. Wankers.

ye iv herd talk about this to. there is no need for it. the gov are starting to take the piss. and the thing is it wont stop there fuel is going up 2p every few weeks now us in scotland are now payin £1.12p per liter not good prob be more by the end of the year
 
the information on new road tax classes is available on the dvla website i think, some one was showing me some info they printed out the other day, its all a bit complicated as there are so many classes, it depends on what it says on your v5, it may state your co rating or may just be classed as PLG, the higher the co rating the more expensive:( i'm pretty sure that its not going to cost no where near £400 to tax an ek9.
 
The goverment are off there tits are'nt they £400 road tax thats harsh,£1.14p for v power in the north of england ,what a fu*king joke this country is,al we do is pay pay pay taxes ,what do we get back from them.....bollocks all ...........rant over

And the government wonder why so many people drive without insurance and road tax! thank **** the robbing cunts labour are on their way out, lets only hope cameron starts to reduce tax's a little.

£400 thats what the highest band will pay like evo's depending on date of registrations after 2001 on onwards
 
CO of an EK9 and it is 191 so it should be round about 190 for the year
 
Everybody says but when are we the people paying taxes going to do anything about it. Its got totally out of hand all ready and only looks like it will get worse. This country is a ****ing shambles and its governments doing.
 
just got road tax reminder in £101 for six month or £185 for the year
