Well, just in case you don't know each recaro seats weights 40 pounds

I'm thinking about changing them soon, the best option for the money that i've found are the buddy club seats, any one of you has any suggestion?

I would love some spoon bucket seats, but paying 1200 $ per seat, it's just crazy :angry2:

thanks for your help, in the USA, i've found some fiber glass seats for 400 $ the pair shipped... any of you owns one of this seats?

thanks for your help :nice:

there is only one seat you need to consider, you might need to take out a loan to purchase them though: Bride Gias

Gia is the red one on the right, the black one in the left is stradia
haha, but honestly, try to get a carbon/carbon-kevlar fiber backed seat, reason i say this is becuase ive sat in ABS seats and the are VERY flexible, im not sure how much fiberglass will flex though.

This is a good thread, does anyone have any experience using aftermarket seats (IE comfort, flex, geometry, body holding ability ect.) I would like to know about the buddy club seat and F1Spec seats. With a fixed back seat is it ever a problem with the seat angled back too far?

Depending on your body size, i tried some bride bucket seats, i'm size 34 , and it was way to tight for me, this seats are made for japanese drivers that weights like 90 pounds and are 5"4 lol

I also try the buddy club normal version, that fitment was ok, but i think i will fit even better in the wide seat version :nice:

This seats with a low position seat rail, they're not good for daily drive...

I was wondering if the F1Spec seats has the same quality of the buddy club, since they're cheap, but the FRP version, doesn't convince me, maybe i might be wrong..

Andynista, has some bride seats, and they're made of FRP, after almost 2 years of use, they're in perfect condition!

you know I was thinking about buying an eg8 four door for a daily beater, but that bride gias seat just looks so much more practical lol! damn that's expensive !!!!!!!!

the best non-reclinable seat i fit in so far is the sparco evo XL, im a 34-36 but i have really wide shoulders.

buddy club is the best option for the money, i really dont like the cheap one's

anyway in my opinion, your car deservers a high quality bucket seat! bride + carbon fiber = complete happiness hehehe

well i think i will have to buy a FRP version because, carbon kevlar is just way to expensive, i found a site f1spec.com they're selling 2 seats shipped for 400 $
