right lads to put the 4.78 final drive from an 98spec dc2 in an ek9 what all do i need?im told only need these two parts,is this true??

heres the pics of whats on offer but do i need anything else to fit an ek9??

erik's racing sells it all as a kit, i believe its about $450 and it comes with all this:

41233-P80-E30 4.785 DIFERENTIAL RING GEAR
23421-P80-E30 COUNTERSHAFT FIRST GEAR
91107-P80-E30 FIRST GEAR NEEDLE BEARING (you will need 2)
91211-P21-008 DAMPER FRICTION
23914-P80-E30 COLLAR RING
23221-P80-E30 4.785 COUNTERSHAFT

As per my other post about the 4.78FD, I gave Eriks my 'full' adress, this was their reply m8:

'The Shipping price to England is 129.00 and if you would like to do pay
pal we would have to add 4% to the total so it would be 579 plus 4 % which
is 602.16 that would have to be sent to info@ericksracing.com this kit is in
stock and ready to be shipped as soon as payment is applied.

As I am now looking into a UK price for the MF Close gear set I havnt gone ahead yet.

wow, im guessing it must be really heavy then...
 
Heavy indeed, Jugbugz can do it for a similar cost from Australia :lol:
 
cheers for the help lads,there was more parts in the box just werent posted i the classifieds add

anyways i picked it up there for a sweet 300£.....genuine honda parts too:woot::woot:

Very Heavy!, I have a 4.40 final drive lying around at my garage, the 4.78 final drive should weight like 30 - 40 pounds :nerv:
