many thanks in advance

John

probably but like butler said you will probably have to find somewhere that does bolts with the same pitch and thread but longer to fit through both. are there no instructions with it?

hmmm i thought i might have to get some longer ones . na no instructions . got it off a mate so didnt really bother bout them to be honest as he dont haave them

Its really easy man :)

Two bolts on the suspension tops each side, and yeah if you want to use your seatbelts you need to get longer allen bolts and use them :)

Being a bit of a silly billy here most likely but where bouts can you get hold of these??? :)

Sorry for bringing this thread back but im considering one of these but dont wanna dish out till im sure its right.
I assume that as you were keeping the rear seatbelts it is still save to carry passengers in the rear and they wont hit their heads if anyone can confim this please let me know also anyluck with the bolts?
Thanks people.

arite mate . i still have my rear seats and seat belts in . cant say it would be comfortable for people in the back because they will most likely be hitting the back of their heads off the bar but i rarely have anyone on the rear .

and i got bolts from my uncle as he works in a engineering works . i can get u some if you struggle to get them

heres a pic of mine fitted . before anyone says about the rough cuts on the plastics they were like that when i bought the car lol

Thanks J700OCK, Yeah i hardly have passengers either but you never know so I wanted to check was a bit worried what would happen in an accident hopefully we wont find out. Just ban back seat passengers i guess :p. Might be looking for those bolts soon if I can find a bar.

@abunai
I have heard people say good things because it braces the c pillar aswell.

i got mine cheap thats the only reason i fitted it . but the answer is yes it really does stiffin up the rear end :)

good bit of kit like, i had one but didnt want to fit it so sold it to my mate and he loves it

Im very tempted to get one like I say the only thing holding me back is worrying about passengers head's but should really be a problem as I hardly ever have people in the back. Was deciding between this or a spoon rear brace.

go for it . imo an ek9 shouldnt have rear seat passengers :p

Damn right.

True but I couldn't bring my self to take the seats out totally as it's so near a perfect car standard anyways. Also you just know that there will be that one time when you need to take your girlfriend and her sister somewere and you will get that look like "whats the point of having a car like that" :angry2:

tell your girlfriend to GTF

Tell her sister to jump in

IMO

Rofl so wrong but had to laugh ty duns  Think i got the better half neways tho.:))
Ill be keeping an eye out for one of these.

I got one and would never carry anybody in the rear seat.

If I get into an accident, I don't want to be responsible
for a splash head in my rear window :angry2:

I removed my rear seat belt at the same to be sure :D

Anyway, 1.6 liter + passenger = too slow
