Well they all look fine apart from the rear passenger side where it's actually wedged in! Car doesn't roll so can't move it anywhere!

Gonna have to figure out how to move it into a garage!
 
some insurance companies have a free of charge 24hr Recovery Service... try them out! nothing to loose... :)

Looks about the same state as my 1 when i got it from chona. All civic ek bumpers are the same mate just the splitter on the bottom thats on it. ive got all the parts except the grill for mine but saying mine is gona be a track car i wasnt bothered if they were jdm or not. The front panels are a pain in the ass to change good luck

One of these days I'll be buying ek9 headlights, and they are expensive in the US. I'll contact you when the time comes!

And the silver ek9, OUCH, terrible luck for the both of you.. The rear quarter panel is the worst place on the body to damage too!

Yeah, i've just got news that my mates silver car is defo a write off, and he's gonna get paid out then get it repaired privately!

I've just managed to get all the parts now, just brought this bumper off ebay

Actually thinking about it, i just rmb i still need Airbags, also i think someone mentioned to me that i would need to change my seat belts too? Is this true?

How unlucky is that two mint ek9s crashed :( Looks like its coming togeather nicely now for you, best of luck with it and hope she turns out nicer then it was to begin with!! Good luck :nice:

My mates silver EK9 has had some issues with the insurance company, they have taken the car and telling him that he cannot buy the car back! Absolute nightmare!

i dont see why he can not buy his car back frm insurance comp! :angry: something wierd going on, maybe someone on the insurance comp wants to keep it! :nono:

What??? :mad: They CANNOT take the ownership of the car if he can settle his financial issues with the company! I guess they are trying to "steal" his EK9 :angry:
 
Yep i agree with manos ,something fishey is going on here, that silver ek9 is an easy repair really for any half decent body shop !they are trying to pull a fast one ,by the looks of it someone in that insurance company/salvage firm has there eye on your mates ek9 to keep it for them selves :mad: tell him to look into the matter in depth ..... before its to late ,he should have the right to buy back the ek9 from his insurance company !
 
I've been speaking to the solicitors dealing with my mates accident and it turns out they still haven't done an engineers report so their taken the piss a lil too.

I've been busy the last few days getting my EK back and i can now tell u that it's running, i've got some photos to put up but i'm currently round my GF's place. Thought i'd take the EK for a lil drive and it drives more or less how it was b4, altho for the engine light that pops up and one minor squeek from engine mount (cuz new).

For some strange reason the bodyshop didn't want to spray the front grill, he just refused to spray it and did it black instead!?!

I was gonna take some better photos but it's decided to snow in the East Midlands so gonna wait till tmr and see what the weathers is like. Just happy my EK is on my drive way once again! =)

Still to do:

SRS light... does anyone know what i need to do to disable this?

Tracking... Monday this will get done!
 
what the hell.... do you have a picture of the grill close up..? I wonder why they dont want to paint it the same colour!? :confused:
