HELP Engine hesitates for a second

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could help me??
i have an ek4 and it seems to hesitate in 1st gear,when high in the revv range.
ill put my foot down and when i get 2 6500rpm it will cut all power off for a second then kick in again??

has anyone had this problem?

Check these in order as a starting point, and if you need more let us know.

Do you have new plugs in?
Have your tried new plug wires as well as plugs?
What is your fuel pressure at during idle and WOT?
How old is your fuel pump and fuel filter?

Could be an easy fix such as plugs.
 
i changed my plugs 40k ago...
il try new ht leads as they are abit hard

I change my plugs on every oil change....lol
40K on one set of plugs may be a world record!
 
every 15k i change mine to the oem ones dont put any others in, but PLEASE change your plugs. :(:( poor spark your lucky it even starts
 
i cleaned out the vtec solinoid and changed the oil and bobs your uncle its back :)
