Hi guys,
Someones head slammed into my sunglasses case on the roof of my Civic and I have no idea how to fix it or simply take it off. Now it just bounces around the whole time I'm driving and it's bringing me to the brink of madness. Has anybody had any experience with these things?

Thanks!
Matt

I think it was an option (or possibly even standard) on US EJ9's etc. I only know that as I've seen them in cars in Australia.

It's that giant box in the middle of the roof in the picture. It used to sit perfectly flush with the ceiling and not move. Now it bounces all over the place and I just want to take it off... Boo...

says on the site that its installed with 3 screws, i'd start with that...maybe the bracket is bent and thats why its loose....

Looks like it uses the same 3 bolts that hold the rearview mirror on. Pull the plastic cover off the mirrror mounting point and then have a look.

That is ridiculously overdesigned, surely it's solving a problem that wasn't there in the first place? There is ample space all over the car for a few bits and bobs like the plastic side pockets and the glovebox just to name a few, why would anyone need to screw a monstrous box to their roof? :p

Have you not seen the link C/W? It's JDM man!!

The wonders of marketing...

It's a shame that's so true. People really will buy anything.

Maybe I should start up my own JDM parts company and call it something catchy like 'Fork' to get in on money. Then the only thing the useless JDM parts scene will be missing is 'Knife' and they'd have a whole set of cutlery; Knife, Fork and Spoon.

i am going to have to agree with champ white on this one. whats wrong with putting your glasses in a small case and put them in the glovebox? but each to their own thats what i say, if your happy with it then thats all that matters. Any luck getting it off??
