Help! Car stuck in germany :(

Hello had a massive disaster at the ring and smashed the car. Its currently in an impound at 12 euro a day and I have 10 days and it gets scrapped! :nono: My pal has a trailer and my other pal has his trailer licence but i have no van or jeep. All the rental companies either don't supply tow bars and the ones that do have limited miles or not allowed in Europe.. Got back home today. Want to leave on Wednesday night, Thursday morning. I'm from the south west of Scotland a village called Ballantrae. 70 miles south of Glasgow. Anyone that could rent me a jeep or a van with a tow bar or any transport vehicle would be fantastic. I know yous are thinking what a tit for smashing, what a noob. But its done now. Any help would be brilliant. I just want my car back :(

Awh man what a disaster! Hopefully somebody on here can help you out and get your car back !!!

Call this guys buddy - I luckily didnt need to use him in the end but he was very helpful and deals with this sort of stuff a lot and may know where you can keep the car until he can get it:

Thanks very much mate. i'll give him a ring tomorrow morning. Even if he could get it to the docks at either side.
 
you would be able to toe it on a normal family sized car.

When I spoke to him he said he could store the car at his place for as long as I needed (think he mentioned he had a large barn) until I could collect the car.

He did give me the option of delivering the car to devon but it was costly as it's out of his way.

Good luck mate, I was in your situation a few weeks ago (although mine was engine failure) and I know it's not nice.

Hope you get it sorted.
 
Speak to Jordan101 on here. I'm sure he's got a van or something that can transport a car...
 
Ah goose sorry to hear about this mate, thats one of my worst nightmares. crashing at the ring and then not being able to get the car home.

Glad to hear you are ok though.. jeez dude hope this get's solved, can only imagine what its like to go through this.. :(

its horrible bud. worst feeling ever :( but yeah thats the main thing. i'm not hurt. hopefully i'll get something sorted :/

the back end went out at the wippermann by the time i went to catch it, it hit the grass and shot round and i just seen the barrier coming :( worst feeling ever. seeing them coming towards you and knowing its gone. its on video in the car and my mate behind me has it on video aswel. haven't watched it yet.

Hire a van in yr area with a tow bar and hire a trailer as well. Trailers are about £80 a weekend

i've looked all that. i can get a van or a jeep but no tow bar and when i found one with a tow bar they wont let you in Europe or have limited miles of 250 and the 9p every extra mile. :/ i've got a trailer i can use thats not a problem. its just getting something to pull it.

Hope you get your car back ok!

Do they not charge you obscene amounts of money if you crash and damage any barriers on the track?
