was going to go for a full set of Mugen bushes for my EK9 as i already have front complience/RTA ones fitted, although they are £££ for what they are, just paying for the Mugen name i feel...........

came across these after hearing the Hardrace name being mentioned a few times eBay Motors: Hardrace Suspension Bushing Kit 99-00 Civic Si (item 280251334501 end time Aug-05-08 18:19:07 PDT)

question is, does anyone know if this full bush kit would be compatible with the EK9?

any help would be appreciated, just to note that i would not need the front upper arm/rear upper arm/RTA/front complience bushes as these have been replaced/will be supplied with my caber adjusters :)

LEGEND!

thanks for that, will order a set with my camber adjusters and do it all in a one'r, can see this being fun :nono:

Some amount of work involved in fitting that kit, is there not.

just like most things that are worth having/modding on the car....

yeah a fair amount but the good thing is when i renew my insurance in a couple of weeks i'll be covered to use my dads FD2/sisters golf GTi so means i can have the car off the road for a while

going to take my time and clean up and paint the lower arms etc whilst they are off, got a variety of drifts etc at work so will be able to fit all the bushes myself :nice:

the old ones can either be pressed out or if it comes to it then burnt/cut out!

ES bushings are a great way to keep working on your car if you enjoy replacing them frequently.

They allow constant droop of the suspension which spherical bearings and hard rubber replacements do not. Poly on a multi-axis setup is not desirable.

Will it feel better initially? Of course! Simply because the stock bushings have seen a fair bit of mileage.

nice find, could do with ordering myself some of them as well.

ordered

had a £20 off ebay voucher so used that and came to £109 delivered, so BARGAIN!!! will be a while before i fit these as going to be saving for some SPC camber arms and doing it in a one'er....... but i'll let everyone know how i get on with fitting/how they perform :)

They look like a great kit!!! Please write a review when they are in and driving?

has anyone ever used these hardrace bushings before, i am after information on the quality and longlivety of them more than anything..

yeah had a look up and they do seem good quality, and for the price you can't really complain!!

after driving my dads FD2 with it only done 3000 miles i loved how tight it feels, mine still feels good like but always room for improvement :)

going to take a while to save for some more suspension trick bits, but should be good, been toying with what other bits to get, it's going to be good though ;)

any feedbacks about these bushing

I dont know which brand i have to choose!

Hardrace bushings have good reviews, friends of mine use them without any problems, recently i also installed some of their products till know i am satisfied.

good product, only problem is very hard to get hold of hardrace stuff, few bits on ebay but not much and actual company never responds to emails directly

THX for theses feedbacks

These bushings are very hard ?

I dont want my car become a sheet of wood

These arrived today, only £20 to pay for import duties etc :)

ordered 2 new front tyres today, camber adjusters will be ordered in a couple of weeks then i can start fitting everything and test it all out :drive:
