Hard to drive slowly/ in traffic/ jerky

About a month ago, was found a tooth out but timed up perfectly now 100%

Two main causes for this are lightened flywheel (as said they can't hold the same energy) and backlash in the transmission components which is inevitable

Whoever thinks it could be a clutch release bearing, don't be stupid

Backlash in transmission components happens in any car though, I've driven civics before albeit not type r, owned a fourth gen.
Driven a few cars and vans etc.
I'm not being a retard with clutch control, I just thought it seemed particularly bad and a complete ass as coming on/off throttle around town and as you come back on at high revs it jerks (you wouldn't use clutch to ease back in after coasting down to say 4k afte a blast?)

so how was it before the timing belt change?

Exactly the same, maybe slightly cleaner revving now.
The problem is not timing as everything in that department has been checked and double checked. It's exactly timed up

Its a Honda, embrace the rattles and jerks. :D

EK9's aren't the easiest to drive slowly and smoothly. If you are still relatively new to the car there might be nothing wrong at all.

My 86 spec teg does exactly the same. Bloody hate it. The whole dash shakes! I've changed the gearbox mount as original was broken which sorted it a bit but I think it may be the rear engine mount. Have heard it can be a bugger to change tho. Hope you get it sorted bud

I sometimes get this clunky feeling but only at very low speeds when I let it slow down in gear and pull itself along with no throttle. It then goes clunk a few times before it sorts itself out.

I have a light fly and after market carbon clutch which has no springs in the friction plate to take up the slack which is why I reckon I get this.

Never bothered me and if I have people in the car I just let the clutch out so I don't look silly!

Pretty sure you must have some sort of after market set up.

I also have got this and am confused about it I'm wondering if it's just an aftermarket diff already inside that I'm unaware of I've heard there clunky? mine is when ur in first or second you let go of throttle at low speeds and it's a clunk and my gear knob moves forward an back an then it's fine?

Check your engine mounts
Especially the rear mount

I have the same problem and it drives me mental. On or off throttle in first or second, clunk. Changed the rear mount and it came out in 2 pieces. 2 weeks into a new one and i can notice it again. I havnt looked at it because I wont know what to look for, but no ones mentioned driveshafts/cv joints. Car drives fine apart from this.

Drove the 9 into central London today,
Realised what a PIG it is in traffic.
Everytime below 3k rpm I either lift off or apply throttle (no clutch action) the car jerks and kangaroos.
So flipping annoying in traffic.
I feel the engine wobbling back and forth (or it feels that way, got a week old set of hardrace mounts so no issue there).
Are they all this crap low in the revs?
I find it so so tiring in traffic or just trying to cruise about.
It feels crap unless I'm in the mood to drive fast.
Just juddering and jumping.

My idle hangs a bit also, would this be related?
So many issues with this car it's beginning to get me a little pisssed off to say the least.

Notice your car has handling issues too possible there connected??

My EK9 is my daily commute to work all be it 20 mins down the road and I have a similar problem coming off the gas its jerks.

Also my clutch makes a squeaking noise while idle then when I press the clutch down fully the squeak stops . Possible bearing on the clutch going ? Other clutch symptoms I have been noticing is that when pulling away at low revs I can here the clutch clicking and also finding it difficult to select gears from stationary.
